Copper Segregation

Brooks Repair Services offer Copper Segregation for selected products.

While copper contamination does not pose a health or safety issue for people who handle the equipment, it does create a challenge for service organizations that need to prevent the contamination of non-copper processes and the equipment used in those processes.

As the use of copper metrological processes continue to grow in the semiconductor industry, Brooks Automation remains committed to segregating returned equipment that has been used in a copper-process.

To that end, all equipment that has been exposed to a copper-process will be identifiable and traceable while on site at a Brooks Automation service facility
