ACUTRAN 7 ROBOT: SAFETY AND OPERATOR
The purpose of this course is to teach the fundamentals of safety and operations of the AcuTran 7 robot. This course combines theory and extensive hands-on practice in a state-of-the-art training laboratory.
Prerequisites The trainee should already be familiar with the operation and maintenance of complex electromechanical equipment.
Audience Cluster tool operators, maintenance technicians, technical support engineers, and field service engineers.
Length 1 Day
Course Objectives Upon completion of this course, the trainee should be able to perform the following:
- Identify and adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
- Identify all electrical and mechanical components of the robot
- Explain the basic theory of operation of the robot
- Perform the following actions using the CDM interface:
- Teach and verify the ability for the Mag 70 robot to pick and place from/to each station
- Manually move the robot end arm using jog and move to location feature
- Display robot setup information
- Perform the following actions using the serial interface:
- Display and change the following robot setup information:
- Communication parameters
- Application number
- Station parameters
- Station option parameters
- Verify the ability for the Acutran 7 robot to pick and place to/from each station
