Integrating world-leading automation In July 2006, Synetics became a division of Brooks Automation, the leading provider of automation systems in the semiconductor industry. The role of the Synetics Solutions Division is to provide semiconductor equipment OEMs with highly configurable, and in some cases completely custom, atmospheric automation solutions.
Synetics and Brooks maintain a close relationship with Synetics' former corporate parent, Yaskawa Electric Corporation of Japan. As an integrator of custom systems, Synetics is enabled to incorporate the “best of breed” automation components of both Brooks and Yaskawa, as well as third party companies. Synetics automation solutions are based on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis SCARA robot models. Optional equipment includes tracks, aligners, and teaching pendants. We also have a range of end effector capabilities that are custom designed by Synetics to meet specific OEM application requirements.
