Synetics F1 Series fan filter units (FFUs) are self-contained systems engineered to fit specific process tools and EFEM requirements. Our FFUs use advanced, high efficiency ULPA (Ultra Low Particle Air) filtration, made from PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene, or Teflon™). Our patented FFU technology uses high efficiency backward curved impeller fans controlled by variable frequency drives.
When combined with our proprietary, optional automatic pressure control system (APCS), our fan filter units will self-regulate fan speed to match the pressure in the mini-environment to ambient conditions and changes. This automated feature also eliminates the time and labor spent during start-up on manual adjustment of fan speed and system balance. APCS also provides a more robust mini-environment, automatically increasing fan speed to maintain pressurization when access panels are opened, and compensating for fluctuations in fab conditions, like bay-chase pressure differential.
Other optional FFU equipment includes ion bars, integrated lighting, pressure display, remote speed control, and customer defined alarm output signals. |
