|  |  | FIXLOAD 6 SAFETY & OPERATIONS The purpose of this course is to teach the student how to safely operate the Fixload 6 loadport following the safety guidelines and procedures. Please note: This is an introductory course only and does not include troubleshooting and maintenance of this component.
Prerequisites The trainee should be familiar with the operation and maintenance of complex electromechanical equipment.
Audience Cluster tool operators, maintenance technicians, technical support engineers, and field service engineers.
Length 1 Day
Course Objectives Upon completion of this course, the trainee should be able to perform the following:- Understand and apply safety-related issues in the operation of the Fixload 6 loadport
- Identify all electrical and mechanical components of the loadport
- Explain the basic theory of operation of the Fixload 6 loadport
- Perform the following actions using the serial interface:
- Configure a laptop for serial (ascii) communications to the Fixload
- Send commands and interpret responses to these commands
- Interpret error responses from Fixload
- Turn messaging on/off
- Initialize the loadport for operations
- Load / unload a Foup using both partial step commands and load/unload commands
- Install the Fixload CM GUI on a laptop
- Use the Fixload GUI to perform the following actions:
- Read software version information
- Read Fixload configuration information
- Load / unload a Foup using both partial step commands and load/unload commands
- Develop and run a script
- Interpret LED info
